Elizabethton High School's track and field program is sending eight outstanding athletes to the TSSAA State Championships after an impressive showing at the East Tennessee Sectional meet. Competing against 32 schools from across the region, the girls team earned a 3rd place finish overall, while the boys placed 13th in a highly competitive field.
The State Meet will be held at Middle Tennessee State University on May 20th.

Chyanne Everett finished 3rd in the 400M Dash (59.47), 5th in the 100M Dash (13.29), and 7th in the 200M (26.67)

Arvella Nave ran an impressive 11:23.85 to place 3rd in the 3200M and 5:15.42 for 4th in the 1600M

Camdyn Garland finished 2nd in Triple Jump (34-4.5), 7th in Long Jump (16-3), and placed 7th and 10th in the 100M and 300M Hurdles respectively
