The Cyclones entered this past weekend's 2024 Indian Classic ready to do battle with host team Dobyns-Bennett and representatives from 29 other schools spread across five states from Alabama to Pennsylvania. After two days of intense action, the Cyclones did not disappoint. The Cyclones walked away from TRIBE Athletic Center with the highest winning percentage in their division, and no less than twelve top four individual finishes.
Finishing first in their weight classes were
Cooper Cole,
Jake Clevinger,
David Wright,
Matthew Hehn,
Leif Erbach and
Broc Mosley.
Runner-ups included
Sadie Kellerman and
Jacob Presley
Finishing third were
Elizabeth Tucker and
Peyton Vanover
Rounding out the field for the Cyclones were
Jacob Jenkins and
Tee Vaughn, both finishing fourth.Â
The Cyclones resume action Wednesday evening at Holston High school in Damascus, VA when they face Holston High School, Smyth County and Abingdon in dual meets.
