Elizabethton High School Announces Fundraising Campaign for the Dave Rider Center for Athletic Performance

Elizabethton, TN – Elizabethton High School is excited to launch a community-driven fundraising initiative for the Dave Rider Center for Athletic Performance, a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance student health, wellness, and athletic training. While the center will provide student-athletes with a dedicated space to develop their skills, it will also serve a broader purpose—benefiting Physical Education classes, the Betsy Band, the school's Navy National Defense Cadet Corps (NNDCC), as well as various other school programs and extracurricular activities. By offering a versatile space for training, practice, and performance development, the facility will support a wide range of students in their pursuits both inside and outside the classroom.

Honoring the legacy of Coach Dave Rider, who shaped the Elizabethton community through his leadership and mentorship, this facility will provide student-athletes with an indoor practice turf, a 3,000-square-foot weight training area, and a multi-purpose regulation court. These resources will help students build strength, agility, and discipline to succeed in competition and in life.
The school invites community members and supporters to leave a lasting impact by contributing to the project. Sponsorship opportunities include:

• Full Equipment Sponsorship ($5,000) – Name recognition on both sides of a double-sided training rack, ensuring prominent visibility. Sponsorship also includes basic advertising space on cyclonepride.com for five years and donor wall recognition.
• Rack Sponsorship ($2,500) – Name recognition on one side of a double-sided training rack, along with basic advertising space on cyclonepride.com for five years and donor wall recognition.
• Shared Rack Sponsorship ($1,250) – Partner with another sponsor to share recognition, with each sponsor's name displayed on one side of a shared section of a double-sided training rack. This level includes donor wall recognition inside the center and basic advertising space on cyclonepride.com for five years.
• Foundation Sponsor (Custom Donation) – Donations under $1,250 are welcomed and will contribute to the development of the facility. Foundation sponsors will be recognized on the donor wall at the entrance of the Dave Rider Center for Athletic Performance.
