In a game that was tightly contested for the first two periods, the Cyclones were able to use a second half push to propel themselves to victory over the West Ridge Wolves Tuesday night.
Things seemed as if they would go down to the wire heading into the halftime break, but Elizabethton's offense caught fire in the third quarter with the Cyclones outscoring the Wolves 20-7 in the period.
The fourth quarter provided some signs of life for West Ridge, but Elizabethton was able to keep applying pressure, rolling to a 59-48 victory.
Andrew Barnett finished the contest with 18 points, while
Nathan Bailey provided 15 of his own and
Hudson Pate added 10.
The Cyclones are back in Action Friday night at Johnson County, tip coming at 7:30 PM.
